Drum & Pail Liners for Dairy Packaging
Our drum and pail liners are thermoformed and heat sealed, which offers protection for the dairy product that’s stored within them. Drum and pail liners also help promote a more streamlined filling operation and support sustainability initiatives by permitting the reuse of the container. At CDF, we offer drum and pail liners for steel, plastic, fiber, and round-bottom drums and pails.
BIB for Dairy Packaging
Our Bag-in-Box (BIB) liners are specifically designed to meet the high quality and safety standards required for dairy products. Tailored to protect dairy items like milk, cream, and liquid eggs, our BIB liners are made from top-grade, food-safe materials. Comprised of two parts, a flexible bag that contains the product within an outer, corrugated shell, these materials create a protective barrier against contaminants and spoilage, guaranteeing the integrity of your dairy goods.
Engineered for seamless integration with BIB packaging systems, our liners offer user-friendly features such as easy dispensing and airtight seals. These features maintain freshness and extend the shelf life of dairy products, preserving their quality from production to consumption.
Perfectly suited for both small-scale and large-volume dairy operations, our BIB liners enhance packaging efficiency and reliability. Our packaging is also designed to meet United Nations standards. By upholding high standards of quality and hygiene, they empower dairy businesses to meet consumer expectations and regulatory requirements with confidence.
IBC Liners for Dairy Packaging
Keeping dairy products fresh is crucial, and our Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) liners are the perfect solution. Specifically made to protect dairy products like milk, cream, liquid egg, yogurt, and variegates during storage and transportation, our liners are made from high-quality, food-safe materials. They act as a strong shield against germs and contaminants, helping dairy products stay fresh for longer.
Our IBC liners come in three types: Form-Fit liners, Air-Assist® liners™, and Pillow liners. Each one is carefully designed to suit the needs of dairy products, ensuring they’re well-preserved and safe. With features such as easy installation, tamper-evidence, and compatibility with various IBC tote systems, these liners provide not only superior protection but also enhance operational efficiency, making them an ideal choice for dairy manufacturers aiming to meet stringent industry standards while optimizing their supply chain.
40% = 34.7 million tons
According to a Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) study, nearly 40% – or 34.7 million tons – of all produced foods are sent to landfill each year.
Environmental Impact
Whether it’s using less overall material, the ability to recycle packaging, or promoting maximum product evacuation and longevity to minimize food waste, all of our packaging solutions are also designed with the environment in mind.
For instance, our Air-Assist IBC liner offers 99.5 percent product evacuation compared to conventional liners, ensuring more product is used and less is left in the bag and wasted. Additionally, our liners use less material and resources compared to conventional solutions.
Bag-in-box packaging is another example of packaging sustainability. The corrugated shell is fully recyclable. BIB packaging is also easy to stack and store, which helps both in the warehouse and on the truck. More packaging can fit on fewer truckloads, which helps reduce emissions during transportation.
Cost Effectiveness
At CDF, our solutions aren’t just good for the environment, they’re also good for your bottom line. Since more packages can fit on fewer truckloads, many of our solutions offer cost savings during transportation. These solutions are also designed to easily integrate onto the shop floor to help improve efficiencies and streamline production.
