Position summary: We are seeking an experienced Controller with a strong background in manufacturing to lead and enhance our financial operations. This role is integral to our management team and involves overseeing accounting processes, budgeting, cash flow, and capital investments. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in manufacturing finance and a solid understanding of industry-specific challenges.
Key Qualifications :
- Required: Minimum 2-5 years in a Controller or similar financial management role, specifically within the manufacturing industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred or intent to pursue.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading finance teams and optimizing financial processes.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Core Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Reporting: Analyze performance, prepare forecasts, manage budgets, and report financial outcomes to management.
- Cost Management: Establish and maintain product costs, asset schedules, cash flow, and expense budgets specific to manufacturing operations.
- Strategic Collaboration: Advise management on policy, organizational structure, and financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Asset Protection: Ensure asset security through internal auditing and appropriate insurance coverage.
- Systems Oversight: Manage software and hardware applications to support accounting functions; provide training on systems including IFS and Windows.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to quality and food safety standards, ensuring all products meet applicable customer and industry standards.
