Shampoo & Conditioner Packaging
Bag-in-Box for Shampoo & Conditioner Packaging
As the name implies, bag-in-box packaging consists of a box that acts as the protective outer shell and a flexible bag that goes within the box. What you get is a packaging format that’s innovative and sustainable – and while this format was once most synonymous with liquids, it’s also becoming increasingly popular with more viscous liquids like shampoo and conditioner as well.
The bag part of bag-in-box packaging can consist of either pillow liners or CDF’s Cheertainer. One of the nice things about bag-in-box packaging is that these bags can be outfitted with fitments and spouts to maximize product evacuation.
Drum Liners for Shampoo & Conditioner Packaging
These semi-rigid packaging solutions don’t just adequately hold and preserve product, but they’re also reusable. CDF liners are available for steel drums and pails, plastic drums and pails, fiber drums, and round bottom drums.
Drum Pumps: These are designed for liquids or viscous materials. A pump is inserted into the drum, and the material is pumped out into another container or directly into the manufacturing equipment.
Our liners are compatible with the use of drum wand pumps and follower plates. A pump is inserted into the drum, and the material is pumped out into another container or directly into the manufacturing equipment. A follower plate. A follower plate is a device used in the transfer of viscous products from drums, particularly when utilizing pneumatic or hydraulic pumps. It’s especially useful for materials that aren’t fluid enough to pour or pump out of a drum without assistance. Our drum liners are compatible with follower plates and pumps.
IBC Liners for Shampoo & Conditioner Packaging
Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) liners are designed to preserve product and ensure that it stays at the highest quality possible. CDF’s division of IBC liners consists of products that are both innovative and effective, consisting of:
- Form-Fit liners
- Air-Assist® liners
- Pillow-shaped liners
- The Defender® line of liners
All of CDF’s liners are designed to protect the product, preserve its quality, and maximize product evacuation. They’re also a more sustainable alternative to other packaging types.
Environmental Impact of CDF Solutions
CDF’s range of packaging solutions is designed to serve as a sustainable alternative to conventional packaging, which is both good for the brands we serve and the environment. Our solutions use less packaging material, maximize product dispersion (and thereby trim down on waste) and also represent lighter packaging to save on transportation costs. What’s more is that many of our solutions can also be at least partially recycled when they’ve reached the end of their lifetimes.
