IBC Liners for Syrup Packaging

Bag-in-Box for Syrup Packaging
Once solely used for liquid packaging, the bag-in-box format has evolved to a point where it’s now perfectly suitable for semi-viscous products, like syrup. What’s more, is that bag-in-box can also support bulk packaging amounts.
Fitting to the name, bag-in-box packaging combines a corrugated box and a flexible bag. The box serves as the outer shell, which protects the flexible bag, which rests inside of it and contains the product. The bag is outfitted with either a fitment or spout that makes for easy product dispensing.
At CDF, we offer bag sizes large enough to support bulk amounts. For instance, our bags are available in sizes ranging from 1 liter up to 25 liters.
Smart Pail for Syrup Packaging
Smart Pail represents a sustainable alternative to conventional plastic pails. These semi-rigid, vacuum-formed products are collapsible and recyclable – and they can be outfitted with peel-reseal lidding to keep syrup – or anything they’re holding – fresh for longer. Some of the key benefits of Smart Pail over alternatives include:
- Unique design and stacking strength.
- Use of up to 80 percent less plastic.
- Ability to package up to 33 percent more product.
Drum & Pail Liners for Syrup Packaging
CDF offers drum and pail liners for steel, plastic, fiber, and round-bottom drums and pails. Our drum and pail liners are made via deep-draw thermoforming and heat-sealed to offer premium performance, maximizing container reuse and keeping products safe and secure.

Other solutions, like bag-in-box and Smart Pail, are either partially or fully recyclable. For example, the corrugated portion of the bag-in-box is recyclable. Smart Pail is collapsible and recyclable.
